What floral services do you offer?
Mal du Pays is a full service florist offering exquisite flowers for weddings and special events in Western Massachusetts and the Berkshires. We are also available for seasonal flower deliveries, floral installations, photoshoots, collaborations and more. Please reach out using our contact form.
Do you deliver flower arrangements?
Yes! We offer flower deliveries May – October during our growing season.
Where do you deliver to?
Our flower operation is based out of North Hadley and Florence, MA. We offer complimentary delivery to addresses within a 5-mile radius, and delivery within a 15-mile radius for a fee.
What are your delivery fees?
How far in advance must I place my delivery order?
Please allow 48 hours notice for all orders, as flowers are harvested and arranged to order. Visit our retail partner KESTREL in Northampton for same day walk-in purchases of flower bouquets.
When will my flowers arrive?
Deliveries are made between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please leave a detailed note at checkout if you have specific scheduling concerns.
How do you coordinate delivery with my gift recipient?
We will make one delivery attempt. If no one answers the door, flowers will be left in the safest, most visible spot, and we will send the recipient a text notification. Please leave a detailed note at checkout if you have special delivery instructions.
How are floral arrangements packaged for delivery?
Vase arrangements are nestled in biodegradable cardboard boxes with tissue.
May I include a gift note?
Yes! We offer complimentary gift notes. Each one is written by hand for an extra personal touch. Please include the text of your gift note at check-out.
May I pick up my flowers?
Due to the nature of our demanding farm work, we are not able to offer pick up from our private studio in Florence.
May I choose which flowers and colors you use?
We are honored that you trust us to design beautiful arrangements from the most inspiring materials of the season. While we consider special requests, we can’t guarantee that we will have specific flowers or colors in stock. If you would like the arrangement to convey a particular mood (i.e. sympathy flowers), we recommend leaving a note at check out.
How long will my flowers last?
Flowers are cut to order for maximum vase life. We use a mix of durable and fragile cut flowers so you can enjoy nature’s full range of colors, textures, and fragrances. You can expect some flowers to last a week or more, and some to fade more quickly. We encourage you to embrace each flower’s transformation in a vase and savor their ephemeral nature.
You can prolong enjoyment of your flowers by keeping their vase full of water—thirsty flowers require refills! Replace cloudy water, and keep it clear with homemade flower food (dissolve a drop of bleach + a tablespoon of table sugar in your vase). Keep your flowers in a cool spot that’s away from direct sunlight.
